Corneal Transplant, Dislocated Pupil and Glaucoma Shunt

IMG 5501

We had a patient with a corneal transplant, dislocated pupil and glaucoma shunt present to the clinic for a contact lens evaluation.

Without correction he can see 20/200. He complains his vision is blurry, distorted and ghosted.

We used the sMap 3D scleral topographer on his eye and he had about 400 um of scleral toricity.

With a Europa diagnostic lens, he was able to achieve 20/40 vision with less ghosting. We decided to order the lens with a larger optic zone to account for his displaced pupil.

Looking forward to his dispense!
