How to Care for Your Lenses Using Hydrogen Peroxide

Place the lens in your hand and apply 2-4 drops of hydrogen peroxide onto the lens and rub for 30 seconds on each side.

Place your lens in the appropriately labeled basket, and rinse each side of the basket with the hydrogen peroxide solution for 5 seconds.

Then, fill the lens case to the designated line with hydrogen peroxide.

Screw on the cap and let the lens soak for at least 6 hours.

When you are ready to use your scleral lens, remove from the basket, rinse with non preserved saline and place on the applicator device of your choice.

Do not ever put the hydrogen peroxide solution directly into your eye or in the bowl of the scleral lens, as this will burn your eye!

Always dump out the used solution. Rinse the lens case with hydrogen peroxide solution or sterile saline and allow to air dry. Store the lens basket upside down to allow to air dry.
